1. What life experience made you become a Photographer?

My love of family and photography has always been front and centre my entire life. I love how photographs tell a story and these memories are forever. Future generations will always have these to look back on.

2. What makes your service unique?

I have been photographing newborns since 2012 and have completed lots of newborn photography training. With years of experience your newborns are 100% safe with me. All families provide me with feedback saying that they feel so comfortable in the studio and during the photo session.

3. How did you get started and build a client base?

I have always had an amazing client base. My personality and warmth just draws people and babies to me. I have clients always coming back to me for their second and third or fourth babies and the referrals just keep growing. I think experience and customer service just speaks for itself. Social media platforms is amazing as well as it provides other people to be exposed to my work too and introduce amazing new clients as well.

4. Describe your style.

My style is most definitely simple, clean and minimalist. I love capturing newborns in their simple, pure form. I want to show off your beautiful babies features and the beautiful curve in their body like they were in the womb. When props are used they are kept super simple to not distract away from the main subject - your baby.

5. Do you offer posed newborn sessions? Do you bring props along?

All sessions are posed in some way shape or form. With newborn sessions the baby will always guide me in what they want to do or how they want to be placed. Some babies are curlier than others and others love to stretch. With my photography I guide them to a certain position to be posed and if they go to stretch I am there as well to capture that sweet moment too.

I have all the blankets, wraps, beanies, headbands and props that are needed during a session.

6. When is the best time to have a newborn session?

The most ideal time for your session would be up to 3 weeks of age but in saying that I photograph newborns at all ages. The younger they are the more sleepy and curly your newborn will be. As they get older some babies can get reflux or get a little baby acne but it's something I have the expertise and can work around.

7. What should I wear to the shoot?

Before your session I provide families with a detailed preparation guide which discusses styling tips everyone. In addition I have a huge range of maternity clothing and beautiful dresses which can be barred for your newborn family photo too.

8. Do you have props and accessories or do I have to provide them?

I have all the props and accessories for your newborn session. If there is a specific blanket or accessory that you have at home that you want photographed I am open to that as well.

9. What are your packages and its inclusives?

All my packages and prices can be found on my website.

10. What happens if kids don’t behave on the day?

I have never not been able to get kids to behave on the day. I have lots of tricks to get them to participate with their sibling and family photo. Don't worry I got you!

12. What camera do you use?

Canon R6

13. What is your favourite lens?

The canon 35mm f/1.4

14. Can I book a session if my newborn has already arrived? What if they are older than the recommended days?

Absolutely!! If I have availability I will always fit you in. But where possible, book in advance to not be disappointed.

15. How long before I get my photos?

I always let clients know that it can take up to 4 weeks. As a mother of two girls anything can happen so I always give myself the flexibility of time as anything can happen. Where possible I will always try to get them to you within a shorter timeframe.
