Babies grow so quickly so she recommends that sessions take place from between 5 - 14 days to allow for those curled up squishy poses. After 14 days babies are a little harder to settle and some poses are more difficult to achieve but that being said, some babies sleep well no matter how old they are.

These documentary style sessions are a wonderful way to capture and celebrate your family's love. It’s a little bit different to the traditional posed newborn photography, Brittany comes to you at home and hangs out with your family for about 2 hours to photograph the day as it naturally unfolds. Ash, owner of Brookleigh was born in Queensland but migrated south to Melbourne in 2011, for the cold weather and amazing culture. She has been an avid photographer for over 10 years but officially opened her own photography studio in 2018, which has allowed her to take control of my energy, harness my creativity and spend more time with my animals.
For her, as someone living with a chronic pain condition (known as CRPS), having the power to live and work on my own terms is the best gift that she could have ever give to myself, and she grateful every day to live this life and to meet new clients that she can capture as they live their own best life!
The Newborn Photography Package is the perfect way to capture your new joy and love, and memorialize this wonderful experience. Her studio is warm and private, and she has allocated additional time to this booking type so that feeding and changing are not unnecessarily stressful.
This is a very personal session, so she is happy to discuss any special requests or requirements. Please do not hesitate to contact her with any questions.
